On Thursday night I went to Team Z happy hour and heard that the Kinetic Half was on Saturday instead of Sunday. I'd thought it was on Mother's Day and decided not to race. I also heard that the race was still open (although astronomically expensive) so I packed my bags, found a dog sitter (thanks Bruce and Jay!) and a place to stay.
